HAPPY VALENTINES DAY

The first thing I do after riding my gorgeous pink bike to work is order my large Latte from Le Bon Delice Patisserie. Its the best coffee in town.

Not to mention the exquisite little french tarts. Its a real find! They spoil me by bringing my coffee to me daily. I love the way they have decorated this year for Valentines day.

I re-merchandised my shop window yesterday with everything I could find 'red' in my store. Its amazing how many people came 'looking' for something special for their love.

The soap petals by Debra Hutton have definitely been a hit and there has been loads of interest in the 'One Red Bird' jewellery.

From the beginning...

Hello readers,

From the moment I opened the doors to my magical store I had special moments where designer, customer and myself all connect ...there is a definate energy.

When a designer comes in to deliver or show her wares, I introduce whatever customer is in the store. We all end up chatting and the customer will give input and help me decide which pieces to order. It honestly has happened a few times that designer and customer bond and go off to continue chatting around the corner at Le Bon Delice Patisserie over a latte...hilarious!

My little shop has evolved into supporting local designers, and gosh there are so many talented people on the Sunshine Coast, I get an average of two new designers weekly come to my door. The best part is...I don't need to go looking for stock or go to those Trade Fairs...the word is out and they come to me!

When I first opened I just sold my art (1) and my daughter Chloes photography (2).

Then I included some of my friends jewellery such as Pam French Design (3), then it just blossomed!

There is a story about everything in this store. By Friday afternoon I am so talked out-but its very rewarding at the same time.

My aim with this blog is to tell you about my constant designers and share the excitement as I get a new one!

Colour your life.
